Be an Inventor! Parents, This week we will be studying about famous inventors and their inventions. Your child has a chance to be an inventor. See the following requirements for the project that is due Friday May 14. Students should complete the following steps: 1.Think of something that could be helpful that has never before been invented. 2. On a poster board, draw the design for your invention. Include the name of your invention, your name, and a sentence or two at the bottom explaining how your invention works and why it would be helpful. The project will be graded based on the following: ·Project is completed on time ·Design is colorful ·Project is neat ·Design is original—something that has never been invented ·Title and student’s name are on the poster ·An explanation of the invention included on the poster. ·Project is creative and a reflection of the student’s best work.
